Art can be part of every day and art is for everyone. There should be no barriers to art appreciation, which is why Port City Creative Guild brought together Long Beach museums and galleries to curate Couriers of Hope, an exhibition featuring 80 artists and over 160 pieces of art.

Artists see what we don’t see. For this show, they have transformed envelopes into pieces expressing and exploring the emotion of hope, pointing out the beauty all around us in simple things and quiet observations.

Despite upended routines and extended isolation, art has the power to tie us to others and show us our collective humanity. Couriers of Hope deliberately connects artists and young people in particular, encouraging students to appreciate and collect original small-scale art. With this exhibition, Port City Creative Guild sends art into homes, bringing connection and hope.
