Couriers of Hope

Where does your hope come from? Hope balances our fears and anxieties. When we want to give up, hope keeps us going. On new and found envelopes, 80 artists express and explore what brings them hope, what they are hoping for, and what hope looks like. In the midst of uncertainty and isolation, art has the power to tie us to others and reveal our collective humanity — the use of envelopes, which are easily accessible, refer to open lines of communication and show how art is a universal form of self-expression. The pieces in this show have been made available to LBUSD students for trading with their own creative works, encouraging students to appreciate and participate in art. We are sending art into homes, bringing connection and hope.
